WHO WE ARE?

The purpose of advanced biofuel production is reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and its harmful impact on the environment, and to increase sustainability by using waste and residues non-food biomass, as well as other feedstocks that are can’t be used for food or feed.
We are advanced biodiesel production plant.
We are located in middle of the Baltic states – near Riga – at the crossroads of strategically important logistics routes – halfway from large feedstock suppliers to key biofuel market players.
We are the only producers of advanced biodiesel from industrial waste in the Baltic countries.

TECHNOLOGY & EQUIPMENT

Production site is completely equipped with the modern technologies for advanced biodiesel from industrial waste feedstocks, with capacity till 10 000 ton per year.
The plant’s equipment is manufactured according to the standards of world-known manufacturers, partly on an individual order for a specific production.
We have a modern, well-equipped laboratory. We are engaged in research & development in order to adapt new industrial waste for the biodiesel production. We develop technologies and recipes using different feedstocks options.
The plant’s executive has many years of experience in oils & fats industry and supply chain management.

EU LEGISLATION
OF BIODIESEL INDUSTRY

Biodiesel industry began to steadily grow up at the end of the last century. Initially, vegetable oils were the main feedstock.
Then an active process of establishing an overall policy for the production and promotion of energy from renewable sources in the EU started. That goal is pursued by Renewable Energy Directive. The increased use of energy from renewable sources or renewable energy constitutes an important part of the package of measures needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In April 2009, the Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 april 2009 was adopted by European Commission.
In December 2018, the Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 , entered into force.

The regulatory environment is changing in Europe with the introduction of the Renewable Energy Directive II in 2021, which will drive the market to produce less vegetable oil-based biodiesel and more advanced biodiesel produced from waste feedstocks.

Our plant is providing solutions to support customers’ carbon footprint improvement requests.
